This is probably my favorite beach in Maine- never too crowded. It's one of the best surfing beaches, too

Right by downtown, this park has beautiful views of the water and a really cute gazebo
Eastern Promenade Trail
This island is a quick ferry ride from Portland and has amazing scenery. Recommend biking around!
Peaks Island
Sugarloaf is a great ski mountain and also has beautiful hikes in the summer and fall

Cadillac mountain is one of the most beautiful places to see the sunrise. You can drive or hike up (it is pretty early!) I also love Sand Beach
